Soren Sorenson, 33, was a British citizen from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He survived the Lusitania sinking. He played poker with others to the last possible moment, even when the room was tilting. Reverend Simpson, from Roseland, British Columbia, Canada, survived the Lusitania disaster by clinging onto an upturned boat.  Reverend Simpson was in cabin C 3 and shared it with Duncan Hanes and Canon Ernest Phair.
