Mary Ferguson, 23, was traveling third class aboard Lusitania with her 15-month old son, Edward. Mary and Edward did not survive the sinking.
Mary was married to Samuel James Ferguson who was one year younger than Mary. He was a mechanic. They lived in Newark, New Jersey, United States. Samuel Ferguson filed suit against Germany in the Mixed Claims Commission where he was awarded $10,000.00 for the death of his wife and child. He did not file any claims for property lost.
