Minnie “Inez” Wilson (born Corbett), 46, was a British national from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. She was rescued from the Lusitania wreck. Inez is mentioned in the Monday, 10 May 1915, The New York Times, page 3: “…lowered in a lifeboat, which was swamped and sank. Supported only by a lifebelt, she remained afloat for three hours, and was finally rescued.”
Minnie Wilson may have been the “Mrs. Wilson” Margaret Cox says caught her baby Desmond in lifeboat 15, but lifeboat 15 was safely lowered, so they may not have been the same person.
