Annie Pirie, 35, was traveling with her daughter Margaret and son Arthur, Jr. aboard Lusitania. They were originally Cameronia passengers but were transferred when the ship was requisitioned. They were British citizens living in Lynn, United States, on their way to Glasgow, Scotland. Mother and children were lost in the disaster.
From the New York Times, Sunday, 9 May 1915, page 5, column 2: “Mr. and Mrs. Pennycook of 260 Eleventh Street, Hoboken, called [the Cunard office] to inquire about Mrs. Pirie and her two children. They were on their way to Glasgow.”

Annie Pirie was my great aunt. I knew that she and her children died on the Lusitania and I looked through the manifest and found her name. The story was told to me by my mother who has since passed. Her mother Margaret Grant (Osborne) was Annie’s sister. I have a picture of Annie and her daughter!!! Not sure when it was taken in
Glasglow. If anyone has further information I would love to hear it!
