Frederico Padilla, 34, was the Consul-General for Mexico in Great Britain. He lived in Liverpool, England, when in the United Kingdom. He had booked passage from San Antonio, Texas, United States. His brother, Fernando L. Padilla, had a diplomatic position in San Antonio similar to Frederico’s.
Padilla’s ticket number for Lusitania was 46135 and he stayed in cabin A-3. Padilla was lost in the Lusitania sinking. His body was recovered, #175. Per the list of interments at Queenstown (now Cobh) he is buried in the Old Church Cemetery in grave #587.
