Ambrose Cross, 38, was a British subject from London, England, living in the Federated Malay States (now Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei). He came to the United States via San Francisco, California, aboard the Siberia on 12 April 1915. His ticket for Lusitania was 46126 and his cabin was E-46. Cross survived the Lusitania disaster.
Not long after surviving the Lusitania sinking, in the same year, he served in the British military as part of His Majesty’s forces abroad.
