…not on board the ship. John was born in Canada. His parents were from Scotland and had first settled in Toronto, Ontario in 1911 and then Calgary, Alberta, later that year. John was born some time between late 1913 and early 1915. On 7 May 1915, Agnes and John were lost in the Lusitania disaster. Neither of their bodies were recovered or identified.
