The SS United States needs our help! The SS United States Conservancy has done a great job of raising funds to keep this ship, but they’re only 1/5 of the way there. The SSUS is one of the last great ocean liners still around today. Please, please, please don’t let her go to the scrapyards! Here’s how you can do your part to save her.
Below is part 1 of a 5-part documentary about this great ship. More parts will be posted in further updates.
From the West Cork Times:
Gregg Bemis met with Minister Jimmy Deenihan to discuss further exploration of the Lusitania wreck site, and to donate recovered artifacts to the Irish state to commemorate the upcoming sinking centennial.
