Dear Sir,
Your letter of 2nd is to hand this afternoon. I wrote my Son with your Father’s letter by mail of 11 Sept. but he has been for some weeks out West and on looking up dates I find he would have left home before it arrived. This no doubt explains the delay. I am writing him by this mail with your letters and am sure it will need no request from me for him to tell you all he can. I will ask him to address his reply to Ramsgate. His home address, as I mentioned before, is G.W. Bilbrough, Smith’s Falls, Ont., Canada. The mails are somewhat irregular at present but if you hear nothing in 6 weeks please let me know.
