Margaret Canigan, 28, was a British subject living in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, where she was working as a domestic. She was originally from Blacklion, County Cavan, Ireland. She had a brother named Pat who lived in Gubaveeny, Blacklion.
Margaret was lost when the Lusitania was torpedoed and sunk on 7 May 1915. Her body was recovered, #74, and in buried Common Grave A in the Old Church Cemetery in Queenstown (Cobh), Ireland. Her belonging were forwarded to her brother Pat on 7 June 1915.
