Kate Duplex, 34 or 35, was a Quaker from Fannins, Queens County (now Mountmellick, County Laois). She is described as having dark hair. She arrived in the United States aboard White Star Line’s Baltic on2 May 1914.
Duplex lived and worked in Long Island, New York, United States. She was returning home on a summer holiday. Kate was lost in the sinking.

The lady described above was a cousin of my grandmother and while she originated from farnans and queens county the remainder of the address is incorrect , farnans ,Ballickmoyler, co Laois would have been her proper address..I would also believe she was a Catholic and not a Quaker as appears in the above
