Margaret Anderson, 30, was the wife of George Anderson. She was born Margaret Armstrong in Great Britain. Margaret was lost in the Lusitania disaster. Her body was recovered, #29, and was buried in Common Grave C in the Old Church Cemetery in Queenstown (now Cobh), Ireland. She was survived by her husband George and her parents, also British subjects. George became a United States citizen through naturalization on 23 March 1916.
George Anderson brought suit against Germany in the Mixed Claims Commission, but as neither George or Margaret were American citizens at the time of the sinking, he was not eligible for compensation.
